What does it cost to be involve as an artisan?
There is no cost to the participating artisan, any Lodging venue or Entertainment participating. There is a list of actions that it is hoped that each Artisan will follow that will help to promote the event and the rest of the Artisans involved. There is information offered about promoting your participation in this document.
How do I register for this event?
There is a registration form that needs to be completed and emailed back. One form is dedicated to Artisans and another to Venues. Instructions on how to complete the form is also available. Everyone interested in participating can complete the form. We will contact them for additional information needed for the map.
Can any artisan or artist be included in the event?
If you are located in Washington County, NY you are eligible to participate as long as the address where you will invite the public to is in Washington County, NY and the items/product that you will have on display are made by you. A map of Washington County is posted below this page for your reference.
when and where will the Artisan Trail Maps be available?
Each registered participating Artisan will be listed on the map showing their location. The calendar below provides the Deadline dates in June for registering to be on the map and when the map will be available to download. The maps will be available mid June on this website and on the Facebook page Artisan Trails in Washington County. Each artisan should download copies of the map to make available to visitors who may not have one.
I'm not an artisan but how can I get involved?
It would be great to have more community involvement for the event. If you are a venue who offers Lodging or Entertainment we'd love to make a notation of our map showing where these services are provided. here is a screen shot of the section of our website that will be devoted to outside services that we can list you on. We just ask that you add our event to your promotions. Click here for the registration form.
Who qualifies as an artisan?
What will be listed on this website about participants in the event?
A page has been created listing each registered participant and, if available, their website address. photos are sent to the email address email@example.com and two photos of the location or wares are included as well as each site location address. Any further promotion of your site will be up the participant.
what are the dates and times for the event
Each artisan will have their Open times and Dates that will be listed on the Trail Map. Refer to the map for their times and dates. The calendar below for the weekend dates and available time in general. July 13-15. Some artisans are open from 9AM to 5PM others will open 10AM to 6PM. Check the map for listings.
